A two minute walk will take you into Cambridge Park and the Beau Sejour Leisure Centre offering the largest selection of Health and Leisure activities on Guernsey, including the family friendly swimming pool. It is also Guernsey’s main theatre with a range of different plays and activities taking place during the year

Candie Gardens and the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery
A five minute stroll will take you to the beautiful walled Lower Garden at Candie. The Upper Garden with the statue of Victor Hugo stands next to the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery which hosts a number of interesting and well presented displays and exhibitions during the year. During the summer an open-air concert is held on the balcony in front of the museum every Sunday afternoon.
Castle Cornet
On the other side of town there is Castle Cornet with the noonday gun and a number of displays to occupy and interest you as you wander through several centuries of history.

Herm and Sark
Less than 10 minutes down the hill will take you to the St Peter Port harbour where you can book a day trip to the islands of Herm and Sark. The two islands are extremely beautiful and a day trip to either or both islands will be a memorable experience which can only enhance your holiday.

St Peter Port Town
Less than 10 minutes down the hill will take into the St Peter Port town where you wander through the streets and enjoy a spot of retail therapy. Or sit by the marina and watch the world go by.
St James Concert Hall
Again about 10 minutes from Les Cotils will take you to St James, the home of the Guernsey Tapestry. St James is also Guernsey’s concert Hall where a range of different concerts and presentations take place during the year.

Victor Hugo’s House
On the other side of town, as you go up Hauteville, you can find the home of Victor Hugo. An eccentric and interesting man which you will find reflected in the house itself. See for yourself where he wrote ‘The Toilers of the Sea’ and other books.
